Challenge pennants of Emergencies Ministry

The Best Regional Center Challenge Pennant is approved by Order No.61 of the Emergencies Ministry “On challenge pennants of the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters” from 02 February 1998.



The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth. Width to length ratio is 1:2. the Emergencies Ministry’s emblem framed with gold olive leaves is embroidered in gold in the Center.



The Best Aviation Unit Challenge Pennant is approved by Order No.236 of the Emergencies Ministry “On approval of chest badges “Aviation Veteran of the Emergencies Ministry”, “Distinguished Service in Aviation of Emergencies Ministry” and “The Best Aviation Unit” Challenge Pennant” of 14 May 2002.

The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth with the width to length ratio 1:1.5 (width 90 cm, length 120 cm). The Emergencies Ministry’s emblem is embroidered on the right side.

The Best Fire Station Challenge Banner is approved by Order No.771 of the Emergencies Ministry of 28 October 2005.



The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth with the width to length ratio 90 by 120 cm. The Emergencies Ministry’s emblem with golden olive leaves is embroidered on the right side. The traditional firefighter’s helmet with two crossed fire axes is placed above the olive leaves.

The Best Directorate Challenge Banner is approved by Order No.788 of the Emergencies Ministry of 3 November 2005.


The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth with the width to length ratio 90 by 120 cm. The Emergencies Ministry’s large emblem in gold framed by olive branches is embroidered on the right side.

The Best Rescue Unit Challenge Pennant is approved by Order No.569 of the Emergencies Ministry “On introduction of changes to Order No.61 of Emergencies Ministry of 2 February 1998” of 28 September 2012.

The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth with the width to length ratio 90 by 120 cm. The Emergencies Ministry’s emblem is embroidered in gold on the right side.

 

The Best Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit Challenge Pennant is approved by Order No.733 of the Emergencies Ministry “On The Best Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit Challenge Pennant of the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters” of 6 December 2011.



The Challenge Pennant represents a two-sided blue cloth with gold edging, the width to length ratio 90 by 120 cm. The Paramalitary Mine Rescue Units’ emblem, consisiting of a double-eagle with wings turned down and a crown, is embroidered on the right side. The eagle holds a dark blue shield with silver edging on its chest. At the upper part of the shield is located the small emblem of the Emergencies Ministry, while in the lower part is located a red equal-ended cross with gold edging, situated above golden crossed hammer and pickaxe.
