Yakovlev
Sergey Petrovich

Mr. Yakovlev was born on November 12, 1958 in the city of Leningrad.

He graduated from the Higher School of the KGB of the USSR. F.E. Dzerzhinsky and the North-West Academy of Public Administration.

He served in the investigative and operational units of the KGB of the USSR, the Ministry of Security of Russia and the FSB (Federal Security Service) of Russia.

From 2006 to 2016 – Head of the Investigation Department of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia.

On February 08, 2019, he was appointed Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.

He was awarded state awards: Medals of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st and 2nd class, Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation, departmental awards of federal executive and state authorities.
