"Hello. Happy New Year! I am writing to you with a request to make my son's dream come true. His name is Prokhor, he will be 5 years old in January. He dreams of becoming a FIRE. I want his dream to come true and while he is little, he will be incredibly happy to visit the fire department of the city of Kansk or at least in a fire truck".

On January 12, 1993, the Far Eastern Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the EMERCOM of Russia was created. For 28 years, the detachment has responded to emergencies and incidents more than 50 thousand times, saved over 35 thousand human lives. According to statistics, 40 lives are saved for each specialist in the unit.
