The building of a block of flats for the personnel of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has been finished in Abakan. 34 specialists, entitled by the federal legislation to have housing provided by the employer – military men, certified firefighters and rescuers – will get flats in this new house.

This is the first residential house built by the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Khakassia for its personnel. When the rescuers move to their new flats the line for the housing will decrease by 80%.

The keys will be handed over on a ceremony on the eve of the professional holiday the Rescuer’s Day marked on 27 December.

A working group of representatives of the Main Office of The Russian Emergencies Ministry in Khakassia have visited the house to estimate its state and quality of the interior.

The brick 5-storeyed house was built in a year. The Main Office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Khakassia and the construction company signed a state contract on building a block of flats in Abakan in December 2012.

The builders made their job perfectly – there were neither disruptions, nor idle time. To a large extent this was thanks to timely funding by the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The flats are almost ready for moving in. Power, heat and water are supplied continuously, there is modern bathroom equipment and electric appliances, communications, including telephone and Internet. Each radiator has a meter on it.
