Selector conference took place in EMERCOM of Russia under the supervision of the First Deputy Head EMERCOM of Russia Ruslan Tsalikov during which the problems of operational and fire situation were discussed as well as the problems of water body situation.
According to recent data, 5-11 October 6 emergencies, 3 574 fires, 57 accidents on water bodies occurred on the territory of the Russian Federation; 1 444 people were saved, 295 perished.
During the conference it was noted that the number of fires in comparison with the previous year decreased by 9.1%, the number of victims –by 12.5%. 135 363 fires and 9 254 victims have been recorded since the beginning of the year.
There is a decrease in the number of fires and deaths during fires in all the Federal Districts.
There is a positive tendency of reduction of amount of emergencies and victims. Since the beginning of the current year 350 emergencies have been registered during which 1832 people were injured, 521 perished. In comparison with the same period last year the number of emergencies fell by 16.7% and the number of victims by 16.1%.
During the last week the fire-fighting units were engaged in 1 096 road accident relief. 1 663 people were saved.
361 explosive objects were found, including 5 air bombs.
57 accidents on water bodies of the Russian Federation were registered last week which is 38.7% less than during the same period last year.
6 016 accidents have occurred since the beginning of the year, the decrease is 28.2%. 4 843 people perished which is 1 616 people less than during the same period last year (less by 25%).
5-11 October, 8 people were rescued by the specialists of the State Small Boat Inspection EMERCOM of Russia. 1 303 people have been saved since the beginning of the year.
Furthermore, 67 738 raids and patrollings have been made since the beginning of the year, 18 234 of which together with the rescuers, as a result, 54 601 records of administrative violations have been made.
88 667 sailors have been certified, which is 103% less than last year. 40 366 licenses to manage small boat have been changed.
