The rescuers and dog specialists EMERCOM of Russia also worked in Indonesia which had suffered a disastrous earthquake. During the previous 24 hours they inspected one of the destroyed buildings in Padang, which was the center of the earthquake, however, they did not find any injured or dead there.
The psychologists of the Center of Emergency Psychological Aid EMERCOM of Russia are also working with the earthquake victims as part of the rescue group.
The rescuers, dog specialists and psychologists EMERCOM of Russia arrived in Indonesia on 3 October. The cross-country vehicles equipped with search-and-rescue tools were also delivered to the earthquake area. The rescuers EMERCOM of Russia had practically immediately started their work in the Padang city of Sumatra. They were working in the most difficult areas, but did not find dead or injured people.
