The specialists of the inter-service team EMERCOM of Russia “Leader” continue the mine neutralization works of agricultural lands in the Chechen Republic.
Since September they have cleared more than eight ha of agricultural lands from explosive objects.
During the whole period of work the sappers EMERCOM of Russia eliminated more than 25 explosive objects. In total they will have to inspect 60 ha in search for landmines, mines and unexploded ammunition.
The sappers EMERCOM of Russia worked in the Chechen Republic to clear the agricultural lands of the “Zarya” state farm in april and May of the current year. During that period they managed to clear 50 ha of territory from the explosive objects, neutralized more than 180 explosive objects, from landmines and mines to different ammunition.
The general territory in the Chechen Republic that has to be inspected is 24 500 ha (according to specialists), including 16 520 ha of agricultural lands, of which six thousand ha are plowed field.
