During the accident management works at the Sayan-Shushenskaya hydro-electric power station (after the accident a lot of oil got into the Enisei River) about 30 tones of oil liquid was collected of which 5 tones have been collected today.
There are separate oil spots along the Enisei River which are treated with sorbents, oil booms are also installed. There is a fire-engine to scatter the reagents at the site of the hydro-electric power station. There is no danger of harmful substances getting into the water in-take structures of Khakassia. Constant water monitoring is being made, the situation is under control.
