EMERCOM of Russia reminds of the need to comply with safety measures at home and on vacation. Check the serviceability of electrical wiring and electrical appliances, as well as the stove heating. Remember that braziers can be placed at a distance of at least 5 meters from buildings and other constructions.
The place for an open fire should be located at a distance of at least 50 meters from the nearest building, but if the fire is used in a metal barrel, the distance can be halved. In this case, the barrel must have a lid, and the primary fire extinguishing means must be located nearby. Never leave the fire unattended and do not trust children to look after it!
Demonstrate a safe lifestyle to the younger generation. Teach the children about fire safety and traffic rules.
When resting near water bodies, do not leave children unattended. When using swimming equipment, first make sure that they are in good working order. In the spring, the water in the reservoirs has not yet warmed up. And when a person gets into cold water, not only hypothermia is dangerous, but also shock, which comes suddenly and can lead to serious health consequences. Therefore, when resting in the waters, be extremely careful.
We remind you that from April 30 to May 11, the forces of the Russian Emergencies Ministry are on high alert. Every day, about 71 thousand employees and about 17 thousand pieces of equipment will ensure the safety of citizens. All crowded places and bathing places are under the control of the department.
We remind you that in the event of an emergency that poses a threat to life, you must inform by phone "01" or "101".
