On June 7, the First Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan held a weekly conference call. During the meeting, the work of the pyrotechnic units of the Ministry was especially noted. Today, specialists from the Leader Center, Nevsky and Noginsky rescue centers are working in the Kaliningrad and Tver regions, on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. In particular, work is being carried out in the waters of the Baltic and Black Seas. In total, over 3.6 thousand explosive objects, including 240 aerial bombs, were discovered and neutralized over the past week.

The passage of the spring flood in the territory of the Russian Federation as a whole has been completed, but the floods continue. To date, the edges of ice drifts on all major rivers have reached their estuaries. Over the past week, more than 160 residential and country houses, 550 household plots, 8 bridges and 16 sections of highways were freed from water in 11 regions.

A complex hydrological situation persists in the Chukotka Autonomous District and Krasnoyarsk Territory. The development models have been brought to the attention of local self-government bodies, the notification of the population has been organized. In the Republic of Khakassia, the Republic of Tyva, the Transbaikal Territory and the Irkutsk Region, the situation is stabilizing. There is a positive trend in the reduction of water levels.

Over the past week, more than 2 thousand thermal points have been identified. There are 91 foci in 14 subjects. The largest number of foci and areas of fires was recorded in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk Region. In the Tyumen Region, the situation is stabilizing. Aviation of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Yakutia and the Tyumen Region carried out more than 230 drains, over 690 tons of water was discharged. There are no threats to settlements and economic facilities.

Over the past period, fire and rescue units responded to more than 8.4 thousand man-made fires. When responding to more than 1.7 thousand road accidents, over 1.1 thousand people were saved. Military rescue and search and rescue units were involved in the work more than 420 times - more than 280 people were rescued.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry continue to carry out special treatment of socially significant facilities and transport infrastructure.

EMERCOM of Russia will ensure safety during the preparation and holding of the European Football Championship in St. Petersburg.
