The Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the city of Sevastopol received an application about the discovery by the owner of a private house of an explosive object at the site. It was identified by the staff of a specialized detachment as an artillery shell. After examining the adjacent territory, the pyrotechnics found several dozen more similar finds.
An effective action plan was developed in the shortest possible time. The EMERCOM employees of Russia, together with the specialists of the territorial subsystem of the Unified State System of Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations, consisting of 19 personnel and 5 pieces of equipment, were involved in the ammunition extraction operation.
With the help of engineering technology, all explosive objects that were at a depth were removed. To safely carry out work in the basement, where ammunition was also found, the EMERCOM of Russia employees used hydraulic struts.
