EMERCOM of Russia involves additional equipment to eliminate the consequences of a snow cyclone in the Far East

Additional engineering equipment was sent to the Vyazemsky District of the Khabarovsk Territory to assist in clearing federal and regional roads. In addition, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Khabarovsk Aviation Rescue Center of the EMERCOM of Russia will deliver food for residents and a team of power engineers with a vehicle to carry out repair and restoration work on power lines to the villages of Novokourovka, Pobeda and Ulika-National, where the most difficult situation took place.

As of November 24, repair and restoration work continues in 8 settlements in 5 districts of the Khabarovsk Territory - Solnechny, Khabarovsk, Ulchsky, Tuguro-Chumikansky, Nikolaevsky.

Rescuers of the Emergencies Ministry continue to be on duty at the main exits from Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, as well as in the regional center. Two mobile heating stations are deployed on the Komsomolskaya and Vladivostokskaya routes. In case of identification of vehicles that need help, they help to get out of the snow drifts, put the vehicle on the roadbed.

EMERCOM employees of the Jewish Autonomous Region continue to provide targeted assistance to the population. They deliver food for hospitals and kindergartens, and, if necessary, transport people to medical institutions.

The duty of rescuers on the roads has been strengthened to provide assistance to motorists. There are a number of travel restrictions on the R-297 federal highway. The operational group of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Jewish Autonomous Region in the area of ​​the 2006 km of the federal highway on a special car with a mobile communication center informs drivers about the termination of movement and the possibility of accommodation in the nearest stationary heating and food intake points.
