By order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Acting Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan arrived at the scene of the incident at the Listvyazhnaya mine. “The forces and means of the EMERCOM of Russia are aimed at long-term work, this will require maximum concentration and consolidated actions,” the Acting Minister said.

“The operative pause is connected with the deteriorating gas-dynamic situation in the mine, increasing the concentration of methane,” Alexander Chupriyan said.
