Acting Head of EMERCOM of Russia Alxander Chupriyan expressed condolences to the families and friends of the killed miners and rescuers

“On November 25, the tragedy at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass claimed the lives of 51 people. At the time of the accident, there were 285 miners in the mine. It was possible to bring 239 people out of the mine. Unfortunately, 46 miners died. During the search and rescue operations, 5 mine rescuers of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia died. The mine rescuers, like the miners, did their duty to the end. We grieve immensely for the dead miners and rescuers. This is a huge tragedy for the whole country and for the Russian Emergencies Ministry. On my own behalf and on behalf of the entire EMERCOM of Russia team, I express my deep and sincere condolences to the families and friends of the dead miners and rescuers. Their names will forever remain in our memory." Acting Minister of Emergencies of Russia Alexander Chupriyan said.

The deceased mine rescuers will be awarded the Orders of Courage (posthumously):

Rylov Aleksey Vitalievich, commander of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Platoon No. 3 of the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad, branch of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit (FSUE), 55 years old. He was in service since 2011. He is survived by a wife and two children.

Nosanchuk Oleg Anatolyevich, assistant commander of the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad, branch of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit (FSUE), 53 years old, in service since 1994. He is survived by a wife and two daughters.

Zemtsev Evgeniy Viktorovich, respirator specialist of the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Point of the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad, branch of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit (FSUE), 44 years old, in service since 2015. He is survived by a wife and a son.

Nazarov Andrey Viktorovich, respirator specialist of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Platoon No. 3 of the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad, the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit (FSUE), 56 years old. He was in service since 2011. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Anikin Alexander Konstantinovich, respirator specialist of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Platoon No. 3 the Novokuznetsk Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad, the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit (FSUE), 33 years old. He was in service since 2017. He was survived by a son.
