There are strong wind, rain and snow continue in the Kuban. Operational groups are working around the clock to monitor the situation and provide timely assistance to motorists on the roads. High cross-country equipment is ready. Particular attention is paid to road sections on passes and in mountainous areas. In areas most prone to the formation of snow drifts and traffic jams, 2 mobile heating points of the EMERCOM Main Office have been deployed, and operational groups of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to be on duty.

At the heating points, motorists can rest, warm up and drink hot tea, coffee, charge mobile phones, and receive other assistance.

Over the past day, fire and rescue units have repeatedly provided assistance to drivers of heavy vehicles stuck in snowdrifts.

The operational headquarters of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Krasnodar Territory continues to function.

In total, about 900 personnel and 265 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the adverse weather phenomena from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
