The fire and rescue units of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Kurgan Region, specialists of the Ural Training and Rescue Center, together with the aviation of the EMERCOM of Russia, continue to eliminate natural fires and protect the settlements of the region from the fire element.
Just yesterday, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry managed to prevent the threat of a possible spread of fire to more than 500 houses in the settlement of Chistoprudny, Ikchanka garden-nonprofit partnership, Ryabinushka, Lesnaya Dacha in the Ketovsky municipal district.
Over the past day, two Be-200 ChS amphibious aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry made 88 water discharges with a total volume of about 450 tons.
Since the aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been working in the Kurgan Region, more than 250 water discharges have been made on the hotbeds of natural fires (in total - more than 1.2 thousand tons of water).
Currently, more than 1 thousand people and about 200 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing natural fires in the region.
