The final of the high-speed maneuvering competition on fire trucks "Highway-01" was held in the Northern capital. 16 of the strongest crews of fire and rescue units and emergency rescue units from St. Petersburg, Pskov, Vologda, Novgorod and Leningrad regions came to the start.
The competitive program includes exercises that the driver needs to perform in the shortest possible time, trying not to make mistakes at the same time, and is a high-speed ride with overcoming obstacles, performing certain figures, taking water from an open water source and defeating a conditional fire with water from the trunk.
A real holiday was organized for all the guests of the event: interactive zones, performances of creative teams, demonstration of modern fire and rescue equipment, tuned cars from private collections, as well as drift and fire shows.
As a result of intense struggle
1st place was taken by the team of the Moscow district of the EMERCOM Main Office for St. Petersburg.
The driver Alexander Zakharov and the navigator - Alexander Vasiliev passed the entire route for 5 minutes, 40 seconds.
2nd place was taken by the Search and Rescue Unit of the Moscow district"
The 3rd place was taken by representatives of the units of the State Fire Service of the Luga district branch of the State Institution "Lenoblpozhspas".
