Within the New Year's campaign "Yolka Zhelaniy" with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov fulfilled the dream of 9-year-old Dmitry Ishkuatov.
"The boy dreams of becoming a pilot and has long wanted to feel like a helicopter pilot. The wish was fulfilled at the North-West Aviation Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. This was a real surprise for the child, which will be remembered for many years," said the Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov.
The aviators of the Russian Emergencies Ministry conducted a tour of the unit, introduced the aircraft fleet, told about the profession and the purpose of the center. The young man sat at the controls of a rescue helicopter and familiarized himself with its navigation equipment.
