At the “Pushisty” airfield, a scheduled training was held for 9 rescuers of the search and rescue squad named after. V.A. Polyakov and 3 members of the crew of the Mi-8MTV-2 helicopter of the Khabarovsk ASC of the EMERCOM of Russia.
Parachuteless landing is used when it is necessary to evacuate victims from mountainous areas or when there are obstacles for the landing of the helicopter itself. The coherence of the team and crew directly affects the safety of the participants and the success of the rescue operation.
After the briefing, the trainees thoroughly checked the serviceability of the equipment and began the practical part. During the training, they made 28 descents using a roller device and another 9 using a winch load system.
Such training is the foundation of the Region’s security.
