The EMERCOM of Russia proposed to adjust the qualification requirements for employees filling the positions of state inspectors for small vessels of the divisions of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels of the EMERCOM of Russia.
The draft order reduces excessive requirements for candidates. Now, to replace GIMS inspectors of all categories, a higher professional education in the water, naval or legal fields, as well as additional vocational education according to the established program, are required. It is proposed to replace this requirement for state inspectors for small vessels with higher or secondary vocational education. For category I inspectors, additional professional education will be required according to the established program. The draft order also proposes amendments to the accounting of length of service.
For the leadership position of senior state inspector, the requirement for higher education remains. At the same time, an alternative is proposed for its replacement. All this will make the profession more accessible to applicants with higher or secondary vocational education. Young specialists will be able to receive higher professional education while working and grow up the career ladder.
The document was submitted for public discussion on the portal by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, which approves and updates the Unified Qualification Directory for positions of managers, specialists and employees based on proposals from federal executive authorities.
