Specialists of Russian Emergencies Ministry in Khakassia inspecting buildings slightly damaged by earthquake with Struna
The Russian Emergencies Ministry has sent to Khakassia the Struna system for inspecting bearing capacities of buildings. The special equipment will help determine whether capital funds are needed for repairs. At present the results are showing that the earthquake did not caused any devastating damages. There is no threat to the people or the staff of social or communal facilities.

Specialists of Russian Emergencies Ministry holding training courses for rescuers of South Ossetia
Representatives of the Russian Emergencies Ministry are holding training course “Application of equipment in investigation and expert examination of fires” for the personnel of the Emergency Ministry in South Ossetia. Classes have already been held in Tskhinvali for fire investigators and inspectors of the Emergencies Ministry.

Earthquake in Khakassia caused no casualties or damages
At 09:51 PM, Moscow time, 21.12.2013, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10 km, 50 km from the city of Abakan, in Altai Territory, near the villages of Lukyanovka and Gerasimovka. The earthquake up to 3 magnitude was felt in 8 municipalities in the Republic of Khakassia, 8 municipalities in Krasnoyarsk Territory and 8 municipalities in Kemerovo Region.
There were no casualties or damages
