The title "The best employee of the supervisory activities and preventive work of the EMERCOM of Russia" was earned by the captain of the internal service Ivan Penkov. He is serving as the chief specialist of the department of normative and technical management of supervisory activities and preventive work of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Ivanovo Region.
On November 17, under the chairmanship of Anatoly Suprunovsky, Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia - Chief State Fire Inspector of the Russian Federation, a seminar was held to clarify the procedure and criteria for classifying protection facilities into a certain risk category.
Maksim Arapov, head of the Investigation Division of the Supervisory and Preventive Efforts Department in the city of Bratsk and the Bratsk district of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Irkutsk Region, became the best at the All-Russian competition of professional skills.
On November 16, the EMERCOM task force was sent to Stepanakert (Republic of Armenia). The group will go to the interdepartmental humanitarian response center, where it will assess the situation on the spot and coordinate further actions to provide the necessary assistance to the civilians. The column passed about 350 km to reach the center.

During the event, it was noted that in 77 subjects of the Russian Federation, the readiness of housing and communal services facilities for operation in the autumn-winter period is 100%, in 8 subjects - more than 90%.
Recently, due to worsening weather conditions and shorter daylight hours, the number of road accidents has increased. So, this autumn in Russia there were about 21.5 thousand road accidents, in which about 2 thousand people died and over 6 thousand people were rescued. EMERCOM rescuers assisted in unblocking the injured from the vehicle, psychologists of the Department worked.
