35 years have passed since the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which cut off many lives, caused enormous material damage, and destroyed the usual way of life of millions of people.
The Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center was established on April 25, 2012 on the territory of the Serbian city of Nis as an intergovernmental humanitarian non-profit organization.
On the eve of the celebration of the Day of Fire Protection in the St. Petersburg garrison, the names of the most powerful firefighters from the banks of the Neva were found out. For two days, they competed in performing a complex of combined power and speed loads, which they had to perform in full firefighter gear and in the shortest time. In total, 160 representatives of the fire and rescue units of our city took part in the "Strongest Firefighter" competition.
Divers are able to carry out a wide range of underwater tasks, from simple monitoring and research to complex underwater technical work such as welding, exothermic cutting, and work with hydrodynamic tools. At the same time, the depths can be completely different, both from 0 to 12 (decompression-free), and descents to average depths from 12 to 60 meters. Depths over 60 are deep-sea descents.
Resource centers to support volunteerism in the field of safety culture and disaster management are designed to become entry points for all volunteers in the field of victim assistance, humanitarian missions and emergency response.The creation of 10 such centers throughout the country is part of the Education national project.
Since the beginning of this year, over 11 thousand counter fires of dry vegetation have been registered throughout the country. They were detected with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles and space monitoring, as well as as a result of interdepartmental raids with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other interested services in the private sector and horticultural associations.
