Daily operational forecast for February 2, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for February 2, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 2 cyclones, one anticyclone and atmospheric fronts. 

On the territory of the Russian Federation, inter-municipal level and higher level emergencies, caused by dangerous and adverse weather events, are not predicted.

On the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, low air temperatures of up to 53 °C are predicted.

Probability forecasting:

failures of people and equipment under the ice on water bodies throughout the Russian Federation with the exception of the North Caucasian Federal District;

avalanches in the mountain areas of Siberian Federal District (Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva), North Caucasian Federal District (the Republic of Kabardino-Balkar, the Republic of Karachay-Cherkess, North Ossetia-Alania and Dagestan) and Southern Federal District (the Republic of Adygea and the Krasnodar territory);

activation of landslide and talus processes, landslides, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill regions of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal District (Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Adygea and the Republic of Crimea)
