The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for October 17, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.
The emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:
in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk Region (heavy precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, black ice on the roads, wind speed up to 25 m/s).
The accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:
in the Ural Federal District, in the Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions (wind up to 20 m/s);
in the Volga Federal District, in the Orenburg Region (wind up to 20 m/s);
in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Crimea (heavy rains, thunderstorms, wind up to 22 m/s).
The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast (caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds):
in the Far Eastern Federal District (Primorsky Territory);
in the Siberian Federal District (Altai Republic, Altai Territory, Novosibirsk Region);
in the Ural Federal District (Kurgan Region);
in the Volga Federal District (Republic of Mordovia, Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Tatarstan, Udmurt Republic, Republic of Mari El, Chuvash Republic, Saratov, Samara, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Kirov, Orenburg, Nizhny Novgorod regions);
in the Southern Federal District (Republic of Kalmykia, Adygea, Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Rostov Regions);
in the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Republic of Ingushetia, Chechen Republic, Stavropol Territory).
There is a possibility of landslide, landslip, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian Federal District.
