Daily operational forecast for October 18, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for October 18, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 5 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

The emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast: 

in the Ural Federal District, in the Tyumen Region (wind speed up to 27 m/s).

The accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo regions, the Republic of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory (sleet and rain, wind speed up to 25 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Kurgan and Tyumen regions (wind gusts up to 25 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Mari El and the Saratov Region (wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Moscow, Oryol, Ryazan and Tula regions (heavy rains, sleet, wind speed up to 22 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Crimea (heavy rains, thunderstorms, wind up to 22 m/s).

The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast (caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds): 

in the Far Eastern Federal District (Primorsky Territory);

in the Siberian Federal District (Altai Republic, Altai Territory, Novosibirsk Region);

in the Ural Federal District (Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions);

in the Central Federal District (Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Oryol, Ryazan, Tambov and Tula regions);

in the Volga Federal District (Republics of Mordovia, Bashkortostan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saratov, Kirov, Penza and Orenburg regions);

in the Southern Federal District (Republic of Kalmykia, Republic of Adygea, Crimean Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov regions);

in the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Republic of Ingushetia, Chechen Republic and Stavropol Territory).

There is a possibility of landslide, landslip, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal districts (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory).
