Daily operational forecast for November 19, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for November 19, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

The emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast: 

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Primorsky Territory (heavy precipitation, blizzard, black ice in some areas, snow roll, wind speed up to 15-22 m/s, on the coast up to 25-30 m/s; heavy and very heavy precipitation in the Peter the Great Bay and near Povorotny Cape, winds up to 23-28 m/s, wind gusts up to 32 m/s on the headlands of the bay; in the evening in the area of Povorotny Cape, the waves till 4 m, in the open sea till 5 m are forecast).

The accidents on ships are forecast in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Pacific Ocean, the Bering Sea (dangerous waves up to 8-10 meters high).

The accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Chukotka Autonomous District (snowstorm, wind up to 22-27 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Perm Territory (wind speed up to 20 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Moscow, Ryazan, Tver and Tula regions (wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Northwestern Federal District, throughout the district (wind gusts up to 12-25 m/s, precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, wet snow adhesion, black ice);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Dagestan and the Republic of Ingushetia, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Chechen Republic (heavy precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Kalmykia and the Rostov Region (ice and frost deposits on wires and trees, wind gusts up to 20 m/s), Krasnodar Territory (rain, sleet, snow, wet snow adhesion, ice and frost deposits on wires and trees, wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast (caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds):

in the Far Eastern Federal District (Primorsky Territory);

in the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Dagestan, Republic of Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Chechen Republic).

The landslides, landslisps, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the North Caucasian Federal and Southern Federal districts.
