Daily operational forecast for November 20, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for November 20, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

The emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast: 

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Primorsky Territory (precipitation in the form of rain, snow and sleet, blizzard, black ice, packed snow, wind speed up to 15-22 m/s, on the coast up to 25-30 m/s.

At night, in the Peter the Great Gulf and in the area of the Povorotny - Golden capes, heavy and very heavy precipitation are expected in some areas, wind up to 23-28 m/s, on the headlands of the bay wind gusts up to 32 m/s, a dangerous wave height of 4 m is expected, in the open sea 5 m);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the south of the Taimyr municipal district (snowstorm, very strong south wind, wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s, up to 25-27 m/s in some areas);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk Region (wind gusts up to 27 m/s).

The accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Transbaikal Territory (snow, blizzard, drifting snow, increased wind up to 15-20 m / s) and the Sakhalin Region (heavy snow and rain, wet snow adhesion, wind up to 15-20 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (wind gusts up to 23 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Bryansk, Vladimir, Ivanovskaya, Kaluga, Kostroma, Moscow, Oryol, Ryazan, Tver, Yaroslavl regions (wind gusts up to 20 m/s) and in Moscow (black ice, wind gusts up to 12 -19 m/s);

in the Northwestern Federal District, in the Nenets Autonomous District (rain, sleet, black ice, blizzard, wind up to 19-24 m/s), Murmansk Region (snow, sleet, heavy ice, coastal wind 20-23 m/s), Arkhangelsk Region (rain, sleet, ice, wind 18-23 m / s) and Leningrad Region (rain, in coastal areas wind up to 23 m/s, wet snow sticking, black ice);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, the Republic of Dagestan and the Republic of Ingushetia, the Karachay-Cherkess, Kabardino-Balkarian and Chechen Republics (heavy precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, wet snow sticking, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory (rain, snow, wet snow adhesion, ice-frost deposits, wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

The landslides, landslisps, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the North Caucasian Federal and Southern Federal districts.
