During the day, the Main Department of "The National Crisis Management" of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia organized work to ensure the functioning of management bodies, management of forces and means within the framework of the anti-crisis management system at all levels of the Unified State System of Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations.

I. The work has been organized on: extinguishing 708 man-made fires, responding to 280 road accidents and one incident on water bodies, neutralizing one explosive object, providing psychological assistance in 45 cases.

II. Measures were taken to eliminate the consequences:

• fires: in a metal hangar in the city of Kurgan; in an apartment in a residential building in the Western Administrative District of Moscow;

• derailment of wheelsets of empty freight train cars in the Tyndinsky district, the Amur Region;

• violations: heat supply in the cities of Saratov, Ussuriysk, the Primorsky Territory, Severomorsk, the Murmansk Region and Khabarovsk; cold water supply in the cities of Vyazma, Smolensk Region and Tomsk.

III. On control:

• organization of emergency humanitarian response in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh;

• restoration of power supply in the closed city of Fokino, Primorsky Krai.
