Daily operational forecast for April 18, 2021


The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for April 18, 2021 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Republic of Tyva (wind gusts up to 20 m/s, wind up to 28 m/s in some areas, dust storm, black ice at night and in the morning).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Transbaikal Territory (wind increase up to 20 m/s); in the Chukotka Autonomous District (wind gusts up to 20 m/s, wind gusts up to 30 m/s on the coast of the East Siberian Sea, wind up to 25 m/s with a snowstorm on the eastern coast);

in the Siberian Federal District, the Altai Territory (wind gusts up to 22 m/s), the Irkutsk Region (wind with gusts up to 20 m/s, rain, sleet, wet snow adhesion, packed snow on the roads); in the Omsk Region (wind gusts up to 22 m/s, rain, sleet, black ice), in the Novosibirsk region (rain, sleet, wind gusts up to 23 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Krasnodar Territory (heavy rains, thunderstorms);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Ingushetia, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (thunderstorm, wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the North Caucasian Federal and Southern Federal districts.

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Kamchatka Territory and Sakhalin Region), the Siberian Federal District (Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Altai, Republic of Khakassia, Tyva, Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions), the Northwestern (Murmansk Region), the Southern Federal District (Republic of Adygea, Krasnodar Territory (Sochi city)), the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Republic of Dagestan).
