Daily operational forecast for April 19, 2021


The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for April 19, 2021 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 4 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Chukotka Autonomous District, in the Pevek city district (blizzard, strong wind up to 25-30 m/s, wind gusts up to 33-38 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Tyva and the Republic of Khakassia (very strong wind, wind gusts up to 25-27 m/s, wind up to 30 m/s in the mountains).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Jewish Autonomous Region (wind gusts up to 15-18 m/s) and the Sakhalin Region (heavy rain, wind up to 20-25 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Altai Territory, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions (wind up to 12-17 m/s, wind gusts up to 21-24 m/s in some areas) and Irkutsk Region (rain, sleet, wind up to 15-18 m/s, wind up to 18-23 m/s in the western and north-western regions);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Orenburg Region (wind gusts up to 21 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar Territory (heavy rains, thunderstorms, wind up to 15-20 m/s).

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the North Caucasian Federal and Southern Federal districts.

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Kamchatka Territory and Sakhalin Region), the Siberian Federal District (Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Altai, Republic of Khakassia, Tyva, Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions), the Northwestern (Murmansk Region), the Southern Federal District (Republic of Adygea, Krasnodar Territory (Sochi city)), the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Republic of Dagestan).
