The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for May 5, 2021 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 5 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Primorsky Territory (rains, very heavy rains in some areas, thunderstorms, wind up to 15-20 m/s, the water level increase (0.5-1.2 m) is possible (up to 2,5 m with short-term flooding on small rivers in the southern regions));

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva (very strong wind, wind gusts up to 25 m/s, wind to 30 m/s in the mountains);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and the Republic of Ingushetia, the Chechen Republic and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (heavy rains, showers, thunderstorms, hail, squally winds up to 25 m/s, small mudflows descend in the mountains, water levels increase on rivers with reaching adverse marks in some areas).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Khabarovsk Territory (rain, sleet, wind up to 20 m/s on the coasts) and the Republic of Buryatia (rain, sleet, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 20 m/s, wind up to 24 m/s in some places);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Irkutsk Region (rain, sleet, wind speed up to 18-23 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions (wind gusts up to 22 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mordovia and the Republic of Tatarstan, Orenburg and Samara regions (wind gusts up to 20 m/s); in the Central Federal District, in the Bryansk and Moscow regions (wind gusts up to 18 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Dagestan (heavy rain, thunderstorm, hail, wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the North Caucasian Federal and Southern Federal districts.

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Republic of Buryatia, Kamchatka Territory), the Siberian Federal District (Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Altai, Republic of Khakassia, Tyva, Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions), the Southern Federal District (Republic of Adygea, Krasnodar Territory (Sochi city)), the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria).
