Daily operational forecast for December 1, 2021


On December 1, 2021, 3 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Primorsky Territory (heavy and very heavy precipitation mainly in the form of snow, wind up to 23 m/s, wind up to 27 m/s (very strong wind) in some areas; the wind is up to 32 m/s on the coast, wind gusts up to 38 m/s on the capes of the coast; a blizzard, snow drifts); in the Khabarovsk Territory (heavy snow, very heavy in places, blizzard in some areas; wind up to 23 m/s, wind gusts up to 27 m/s in some areas); in the Sakhalin Region (heavy precipitation, very heavy in the form of rain, heavy snow and sleet, ground surface icing, heavy blizzard with visibility of 500 m or less, wind gusts up to 30 m/s, wind up to 35 m/s in some areas (hurricane); in the Republic of Buryatia (snow, heavy snowfalls, blizzards, wind up to 20 m/s, wind up to 24 m/s in some places, black ice on roads, snow drifts);

in the Central Federal District, in the Ivanovo Region (wind gusts up to 25 m/s);

in Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol (very heavy rains, wet snow adhesion in the mountains, wind gusts up to 30 m/s, wind up to 35 m/s in the mountains);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (very heavy rain, sleet, wind gusts up to 27 m/s); in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic (very heavy rain, sleet); in the Republic of Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Chechen Republic (very strong south wind up to 32 m/s until the morning of December 1).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Irkutsk region (snow, blizzards, snow and ice on the roads, increased wind up to 20 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District on the territory of the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District (heavy precipitation, wet snow, ground surface icing, black ice on the roads, wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mari El, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod and Orenburg regions (heavy precipitation, in the form of snow, sleet and rain, wind gusts up to 25 m/s);

in the Northwestern Federal District, in the Republic of Karelia, the Republic of Komi, the Arkhangelsk Region (heavy snow, blizzard, ground surface icing, ice and hoarfrost phenomena, wind gusts up to 20 m/s); in the Murmansk Region (heavy snow, blizzard, wind gusts up to 22 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, inthe Vladimir, Kaluga, Kostroma and Moscow regions (wind gusts 22 m / s); in the North Caucasus Federal District on the territory of the Stavropol Territory (heavy precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, wind gusts up to 20 m/s, wind up to 28 m/s in some places);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Kalmykia, the Volgograd region, Rostov, Astrakhan regions (heavy rain, sleet, wind gusts up to 28 m/s, wind up to 30 m/s on the coast).

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are in the North Caucasian and the Southern Federal Districts.

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Siberian, Far Eastern and Northwestern Federal Districts.
