Daily operational forecast for January 13, 2022

On January 13, 2022, 2 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Sakhalin Region (heavy snow, very heavy in some areas, heavy blizzard with visibility of 500 meters or less, wet snow adhesion, wind gusts up to 25-30 m/s).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the south of the Taimyr municipal district, the Krasnoyarsk Territory (wind gusts up to 17-22 m/s, blizzard);

in the Northwestern Federal District, in the Komi Republic (wind gusts up to 16-21 m/s, a blizzard with a decrease in visibility up to 1000-500 meters), in the Republic of Karelia (heavy snow, sleet, wind gusts up to 21 m/s), in the Novgorod Region (wet snow adhesion, ground surface icing, wind gusts up to 20 m/s), in the Vologda Region (heavy snow, blizzard, ground surface icing, wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s), Murmansk region (blizzard, wind gusts up to 20 m/s), in the Leningrad Region (heavy snow, ground surface icing, wind gusts up to 20 m/s), in the Arkhangelsk Region (wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s, heavy snow, blizzard, ground surface icing,), St. Petersburg (wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Ivanovo, Yaroslavl regions (wind gusts up to 18 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Adygea, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov Region (heavy precipitation - snow, sleet, rain, adhesion of wet snow on wires and trees, ground surface icing), in the Volgograd Region (heavy snow, blizzard), in the Republic of Kalmykia, Rostov, Astrakhan regions (heavy precipitation - snow, sleet, rain, wet snow adhesion on wires and trees, ice and hoarfrost), in the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Kalmykia, Krasnodar Territory (wind gusts up to 20-25 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Chechen Republic (wind gusts up to 20-23 m/s), the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Chechen Republic, Stavropol Territory (heavy precipitation: snow, sleet, rain).

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are in the North Caucasian (Republic of Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Chechen Republic, Republic of Dagestan), and the Southern Federal Districts (Republic of Adygea, Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol).

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern (Republic of Buryatia, Kamchatka and Transbaikal Territories, Magadan and Sakhalin Regions, Chukotka Autonomous District), Siberian (Republic of Altai, Republic of Tyva and Republic of Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region and Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass), Northwestern (Murmansk Region), North Caucasian (Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, Republic of Dagestan and Republic of Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Karachay-Cherkess Republic and Chechen Republic) federal districts.
