On May 17, 2022, 2 cyclones, 1 anticyclone and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of communal services, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk Region (gusts of wind during thunderstorms up to 18 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Belgorod, Oryol and Tambov regions, Moscow (wind gusts up to 17-18 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Chechen Republic (heavy rain at night).

There is a risk of flooding of low-lying areas, residential buildings, household plots, highways, low-water bridges in the Far Eastern Federal District (in the Kamchatka, Khabarovsk Territories, in the Sakhalin Region, in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Magadan Region), Siberian Federal District (in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region), Ural Federal District (Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen Regions, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District) , Northwestern Federal District (Arkhangelsk, Vologda regions), Volga Federal District (Perm Territory), North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Chechen Republic, Republic of Dagestan) due to precipitation against the background of high water levels, malfunction and clogging of drainage systems, short-term water level rises on small rivers.

There is a risk of thermal anomalies, an increase of the number of foci and areas of wildfires and a possible transition of fire to settlements, infrastructure facilities, disruption of the life support systems in the Far Eastern Federal District (Republics of Buryatia, Trans-Baikal, Khabarovsk, Primorsky, Kamchatka Territories, Amur Region), Siberian Federal District (Republic of Tyva, Republic of Khakassia, Altai, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk regions, Altai, Krasnoyarsk territories); Ural Federal District (Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District); Volga Federal District (Saratov Region); Northwestern Federal District (Arkhangelsk Region), Central Federal District (Belgorod Region), Southern Federal District (Republics of Crimea, Kalmykia, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov Regions, Sevastopol), North Caucasian Federal District (Stavropol Territory) due to fires, counter fires of dry grass, brushwood, forest litter and dry grass burning despite fire safety rules in the forest and in areas adjacent to forests.

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are in the North Caucasian Federal District (Republic of North Ossetia, Republic of Karachay-Cherkess and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic) and Southern Federal District (Republic of Adygea and Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol).

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern, Siberian, Northwestern, Southern and North Caucasian federal districts.
