Daily operational forecast for August 4, 2022

On August 4, 2022, 3 cyclones, 1 anticyclone and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the severe weather phenomena, the emergencies including the disruption of communal services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services and all modes of transport are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Transbaikal Territory (very heavy rains, heavy rainfalls, thunderstorms, hail);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Evenki District (heavy and very heavy rains, rainfalls, thunderstorms, hail, during thunderstorms, squally wind up to 15-20 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (heavy rain, combined with thunderstorm, hail and squall up to 20-25 m/s).

Due to the adverse weather phenomena, the accidents including the disruption of communal services, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Central Federal District, in the Belgorod Region (gusts of wind up to 18 m/s during thunderstorms);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Krasnodar Territory, Rostov Region (heavy rain, rainfalls, thunderstorm, hail, wind during thunderstorm up to 22-24 m/s) and the Republic of Crimea (heavy rain, thunderstorm).

There is a risk of flooding of low-lying areas, residential buildings, household plots, highways, low-water bridges in the Far Eastern Federal District (in Primorsky, in the north of the Transbaikal Territory and in the south of the Khabarovsk Territory, in the east and south of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in the west of the Chukotka Autonomous Region), the Siberian Federal District (in the north of the Irkutsk Region), the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Adygea and the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region), the North Caucasian Federal District (in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Karachay-Cherkess and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic), the North Western Federal District (in the Murmansk Region and in the north of the Arkhangelsk Region), the Central Federal District (in the Belgorod, Kursk and Voronezh regions).

There is a risk of thermal anomalies, an increase of the number of foci and areas of wildfires and a possible transition of fire to settlements, infrastructure facilities in the Far Eastern Federal District (in the Magadan Region, Khabarovsk and Kamchatka Territories, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Chukotka Autonomous District), the Siberian Federal District (in the Republic of Tyva, the Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories, the Novosibirsk and Omsk regions), the Ural Federal District (in the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra), the Volga Federal District (in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, the Perm Territory, the Orenburg, Samara and Saratov regions), the North Western Federal District (in the Republic of Komi), the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Crimea, Adygea and the Republic of Kalmykia, Krasnodar Territory, Volgograd, Rostov and Astrakhan regions) and the North Caucasian Federal District.

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are in the North Caucasian and Southern (the Republic of Adygea and the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol) federal districts.
