Daily operational forecast for August 01, 2026

On August 1, 2026, 5 cyclones and 3 anticyclones with atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the impact of severe weather conditions, the emergencies associated with disruption of public infrastructure, difficulties in the operation of transport, and flooding of low-lying areas are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Primorsky Territory (heavy rains, very heavy and heavy downpours, wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Territory of the central and southern municipalities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva (heavy and very heavy rains, downpours, thunderstorms, hail, in some places large hail, increased wind gusts up to 20 m/s, in some places 25 m/s or more); Irkutsk Region (heavy and very heavy rains, heavy downpours, thunderstorms, hail);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions (thunderstorms, heavy and very heavy rain, heavy downpour, large hail, wind speed up to 25 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Perm Territory (very heavy rains, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 22 m/s);

Due to the impact of adverse weather conditions, the incidents are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Omsk Region (rains, heavy rains, thunderstorms, increased wind with gusts up to 22 m/s, hail is possible);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Tyumen Region (heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, increased wind with gusts up to 22 m/s);

in the North Western Federal District, in the Leningrad Region, St. Petersburg (showers, thunderstorms, hail, wind gusts up to 18-20 m/s); Novgorod, Pskov Regions (showers, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 18 m/s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Bashkortostan (heavy rains, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

There remains a possibility of intensification of landslide processes, mudflows, landslides, and soil subsidence in mountainous and foothill areas:

in Southern Federal District (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory) and North Caucasian Federal District (the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Chechen Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Ingushetia, Republic of Dagestan).
