18-21 May III International Fair “INTEGRATED SAFETY AND SECURITY-2010” (ISSE) will take place in Moscow

The International Fair “Integrated Safety and Security” takes place in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. This is the biggest exhibition project in Russia in the field of safety measures where the main trends of governmental policy in securing the country and its citizens will be demonstrated.

The aim of the fair is to provide effective co-operation between the government authorities and the product-developers in the field of safety in order to promote modern technologies in local as well as in foreign markets of security systems.

The tasks of the International Fair “Integrated Security 2010”:

  • Demonstrate the progress of Federal Target Programs in the safety field;
  • Highlight the main trends of activities of the Federal Executive Bodies in the field of safety;
  • Motivate the implementation of the advanced domestic technologies and developments in the field of safety;
  • Give an opportunity for direct communication between the representatives of Federal Executive Bodies and the Safety Industry in order to increase the efficiency of Federal Target Programs implementation in the field of safety.

The Head EMERCOM of Russia Sergey Shoigu, the heads of other federal and regional bodies, delegations from the USA, Canada, Indonesia, China, India, Malaysia, UAE, Jordan, Venezuela, Uganda, Egypt, Ethiopia, Algiers, Libya, Angola, Guinea, Congo, Finland, Djibouti, Macedonia, Syria, Bangladesh, Poland, The people’s Republic of China, Yemen, Greece, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Vietnam, Mongolia, Sri-Lanka, Iran, Bulgaria, Cuba, Cyprus, Nigeria, Armenia, Senegal, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Byelorussia, Kirgizia, Estonia and other countries will participate in the Fair.

It is forecasted that more than 20 thousand people will visit the “Integrated Safety and Security-2010” Fair where more than 500 exhibits from 15 countries will be presented (including Italy, Germany, Sweden, France, Austria, USA, South Korea, China, Ukraine).

The exposition of the “Integrated Safety and Security-2010” Fair will include the exhibitions of the Federal Executive Bodies where the Federal Target Programs (FTP) in the field of safety in which they are engaged will be presented.

The exhibits of the Fair will include: unmanned air vehicles of helicopter type to conduct emergency areas monitoring, mobile robotic sets “telemax” and “tEODor” to conduct mine neutralization works, examples of modern equipment for experimental fire-rescue subdivisions to work in megalopolis conditions, National Crisis Management Center models and robotodrome and many others.

Presentation of modern technical equipment of the System For Informing the Population will be an important part of the Fair. This equipment is planned to be installed in the subways of the cities of the Russian Federation as part of the complex system for transport security.

The business program of the fair will include seminars, round tables and scientific-practical conferences, in particular the conference on the topic: “International and national crisis-management systems development: problems and ways out” where the problems of the crisis management centers will be discussed.

One of the main activities of the Fair will be the All-Russian meeting on civil defence problems, where EMERCOM of Russia will present the systems of engineer structures monitoring, which are going to be used to watch the technical parameters of structures, buildings of the plants, hydro and nuclear stations, etc.

21 May, the International field demonstration exercise on disaster management will take place at the testing site 179 of the Emergency Rescue Center of EMERCOM of Russia (Noginsk, Moscow Region) with the forces and means of federal executive bodies. Special units of EMERCOM of Russia and MIA of Russia will demonstrate their skills and ability to coordinate joint action in various situations.
