Andrey Viktorovich
Mr.Popov was born on June 8, 1973 in the city of Voronezh.
In 1995 he graduated from the Balashov Higher Military Aviation School for Pilots named after Chief Marshal of Aviation A.A. Novikov with the qualification of a pilot engineer in aviation; in 2005 - the North Caucasus Academy of Public Administration with a degree in State and Municipal Administration.
From 1995 to 1998 - military service as an assistant commander of a ship 334 of the military transport aviation regiment of the 3rd Guards military transport aviation division of the air forces of the Russian Federation.
Since 1998, he held various positions in the civil defence forces and rescue military units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
From May to July 2015, he served as the First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory; from July 2015, he was the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory and the Head of the Directorate for the city of Sochi.
By the Order No. 78 “On the conferment of the military ranks of senior officers and special ranks of senior commanding officers” he was awarded the special rank of senior commanding officer “Major General of the Internal Service”.
October 1, 2018 - Acting Head of the Aviation and Aircraft Rescue Technologies Office.
Since June 2019 - Head of Aviation - Head of the Aviation and Aircraft Rescue Technologies Office.
He was awarded numerous departmental awards.
Mr.Popov is married and raises two daughters.
