A large-scale demonstrationtraining was held at the site of the Noginsk Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry as part of the International Salon "Integrated Security".
It was attended by about 900 people, more than 170 units. equipment, including helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as specialized robotic systems. Rescuers from South Ossetia also worked according to the curriculum.
More than 90 foreign colleagues from 24 countries and six international organizations came to get acquainted with modern rescue equipment and technology, practical training of introductory Russian rescuers.
During the exercise, units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Russian Guard, Forest Protection and others worked out joint actions to eliminate the consequences of almost all types of natural and man-made emergencies. The training made it possible to test new special and fire-rescue equipment, innovative technologies in providing assistance to victims in practice.
“There are a lot of tasks for firefighters and rescuers, and we must be well prepared to solve them. During the exercise, we practice each task with deep immersion. In order to become a high-class specialist, it is necessary to work out practical inputs many times,” Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov said.
According to the Minister, the situation against which the exercise took place made it possible to demonstrate rescue technologies and the capabilities of the forces and means of the RSChS (the Unified State System of Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations) to the maximum. The weather conditions on that day did not interfere with the work, but corresponded to the legend of the exercise.
According to the plan, a complex of adverse weather events took place in central Russia. As a result, territories were flooded, a dam broke, residential and industrial facilities were destroyed, traffic accidents, and natural fires were formed. The large-scale training was consisted of completely different plots for the elimination of simulated emergencies. For the first time in the exercise, an introductory lesson was worked out on the elimination of a burning gas fountain by anti-fountain paramilitary units, which are subordinate to the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
During the demonstration exercise, a helicopter group of 9 units of equipment (Mi-26, Mi-8, Ka-32, BO-105) carried out aerial reconnaissance of the zone of conditional emergency, landing of rescuers, evacuation of victims from disaster areas, extinguishing natural and man-made fires, including during the liquidation of an accident on the railway and air transport.
To eliminate the emergency,unmanned aerial vehicles were also involved in the exercise, which carried out reconnaissance of the area and monitoring the emergency zone. A detailed assessment of the damage and the construction of a 3D model of the aftermath of the destroyed automobile overpass were also carried out with the help of UAV.
The modern robotic systems demonstrated the extinguishing fires in a high-risk area, opening destroyed premises and providing unhindered access for equipment and rescue units.
The demonstration training ended with demonstration performances by rescuers on the reservoir, overflight of aircraft, landing of paratroopers with the flags of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as well as the passage of a equipment column and parade crew of the Academy of Civil Defence of the EMERCOM of Russia.
