Daily operational forecast for December 1, 2024

On December 1, 2024, 3 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the impact of severe weather conditions, the emergencies are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Republic of Buryatia (heavy snowfalls, blizzards, snow drifts, wind gusts up to 17-22 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (blizzard, very strong wind gusts of 25 m/s and more).

Due to the impact of adverse weather conditions, the incidents are forecast:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Magadan Region (ground snowstorm, wind gusts up to 17-22 m/s) and the Chukotka Autonomous District (ground snowstorm on the coast of the East Siberian Sea, wind gusts up to 23-28 m/s).

There is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern (the Republic of Buryatia, the Kamchatka, Transbaikal territories, the Magadan Region); Siberian Federal District (the Republic of Khakassia, the Republic of Tyva, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Irkutsk Region); and North Western Federal District (the Murmansk Region) with the threat of road closures, disruption of transport, damage to buildings and structures, disruption of life support systems, and a threat to the population.

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the Southern Federal District (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol) and the North Caucasian Federal District (the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Republic of Dagestan).
