Daily operational forecast for December 15, 2024

On December 15, 2024, 3 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts are forecast.

Due to the impact of severe weather conditions, the emergencies are forecast:

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the south of the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets Municipal District (blizzard, strong and very strong wind, gusts of 15-20 m/s, wind gusts up to 25 m/s and more in some places);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (wind gusts up to 30 m/s).

Due to the impact of adverse weather conditions, the incidents are forecast:

In the North Western Federal District, in the Republic of Karelia (heavy snow, blizzard, wind strengthening up to 15 m/s), the Leningrad Region and the city of Saint Petersburg (heavy snow, sleet, wet snow in some places);

in the Central Federal District, in the city of Moscow (ice);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Krasnodar Territory (heavy precipitation - rain, sleet, snow in the mountains, thunderstorm, wet snow accumulation on wires and trees, ice, strong wind, gusts up to 25-29 m/s, hail, showers, very heavy snow in the Moscow Region of Sochi), the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (strong wind, gusts up to 20-22 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Ingushetia and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

There is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of the Far Eastern, Siberian, North Western, Southern and North Caucasian federal districts with the threat of road closures, disruption of transport, damage to buildings and structures, disruption of life support systems, and a threat to the population.

The landslides, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas are forecast in the Southern Federal District (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol) and the North Caucasian Federal District (the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Chechen Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Republic of Dagestan).
