Capabilities

Currently, the NationalCenter has the following capabilities:

- Continuous monitoring of the country and condition of industrial facilities via Antistikhiya system, the Single State System for Information on the Situation in the World Ocean (ESIMO), the Single State Comprehensive System for Informing and Warning of the Public in Crowded Places (OKSION), Automatic Radiation Monitoring System (ASKRO), and Tsunami system;

- Automated receiption of information from economic facilities through the Single Duty Dispatch Service, System - 112, Crisis Management Centers of the regional centers of the Emergencies Ministry and regions of the Russian Federation, as well as provision of integrated data to the Board;

- Automation of the processes of provision of the information to the population in case of the threat of occurrence of an emergency situation with the possibility of feedback in a real time mode using the OKSION system;

- Forecasting of possible emergencies and development of scenarios of possible natural disasters and man-made emergencies.

The main objectives for the development of the National Crisis Management Center are:

- To decrease the emergency risks for the population and territories of the Russian Federation;

- Reducing the time of response to emergency situations;

- To improve the efficiency of the provision of assistance to the population affected by disasters.
