Russian Emergencies Ministry’s banner is approved by Edict No.1432 of the President of the Russian Federation “On approval of the Ministry’s of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters banner, banners of its territorial bodies, educational institutions of professional education and organizations controlled by the Ministry” of 12 December 2009.

The Emergencies Ministry’s Representative Flag is approved by Edict No.1231 of the President of the Russian Federation “On banner and heraldic sign – emblem of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters” of 15 November 1997.

The Emergencies Ministry’s Departmental Flag is approved by Edict No.287 of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia “On approval of symbolism of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters” of 20 June 1994.
